We are looking for a talented and creative mind, who understands that CI/CD doesn’t just mean feeding hamsters and making sure their wheels don’t squeak or make sure watchdogs have enough to chew on while you spend the rest of the time writing those doomsday scripts. We want you to help us make the tools that help artists create magic every day.
As part of your adventure with us, we will ask you to:
- Help us maintain our machine lab and make sure everything runs well,
- Help advance internally written tools to provide even more functionality and solve bugs that might arise within them,
- Design, develop and test any new solutions that will benefit and enhance the day to day work for the team,
- Drive CI/CD forward and help fix any problems that might pop up,
- Drink coffee and chive on!
In order to succeed in this role, we’ll need you to:
- Be passionate about computers and computer related topics,
- Know how to work in Windows, Mac OS and Linux,
- Have working experience with version control systems,
- Have experience with continuous integration and delivery,
- Know how to script (Perl, Python, Bash, Ruby, PowerShell, etc),
- Be a self-starter,
- Have excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
We’re totally open to you WOWing us if you:
- Know AccuRev or GitLab,
- Know Visual Studio / XCode / LLVM / gcc build environments,
- Have experience with build automation systems like Electric Flow, Jenkins, etc.
- Have written web applications,
- Know Node.JS, React, Mongo,
- Have experience using Agile/Scrum.
Ask not what you can do for us (that comes later), but we can do for you! Here’s what you can count on when working for Avid:
- A chance to work for one of the most recognized brands in the movie, music and broadcast business (after all, when we perform, Earth shakes, and superheroes fly),
- A chance to challenge yourself every day working on unique and interesting problems,
- A competitive salary along with bonuses like private medical insurance, life insurance, sport package subsidies,
- A chance to advance within the structures of the company,
- Stable employment (full employment contract).
