Job description
Securities Services Operations is a dynamically growing group within Citi providing Fund Accounting, Middle Office and Custody services to investment funds across the globe. The Automation Utilities team in SSO are looking for the programmer/business analyst to join the established team of developers dealing with the automations across the business in EMEA.
The primary goal of the team is to work closely with the Operations on establishing appropriate solutions to get rid of manual work, implement the tools, service the existing ones.
Responsibilities:
- Design and support of Access databases, workflow and calculation tools,
- Automate processes with tools based on C#/VB.net/VBA,
- Analysis and redesign of processes to gain productivity efficiencies,
- Initiation and execution of technical improvements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years experience on similar position,
- strong VBA programming skills (Excel, Access),
- SQL knowledge required,
- C#/ VB.NET will be a plus,
- Alternatively to technical skills, experience with Business Analysis in Middle Office/Custody areas will be taken into consideration strongly,
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Accounting, Banking or Finance discipline (last year pre graduates will be taken into consideration),
- Fluent English,
- General knowledge of capital markets and accounting,
- Good communication and organizational skills,
- Teamwork skills.
