Developer on the Microsoft .NET Framework platform

Job Description:

• Ongoing development and support of the company's core products
• Development of solutions using a Mobile Enterprise Application Platform (MEAP)
• Designing and implementation of solutions basing on functional or technical specifications
• Participation in estimating task effort

Requirements

Education:

• MSc, BSc or equivalent degree in Computer Science or similar area. Students of final years are also welcome

Technical:

• Experience in designing and developing software solutions on the Microsoft .NET Framework platform
• Experience with SQL Server 2005 / 2008 or other relational database system
• Good knowledge of C#, .NET Framework 2.0/3.5, T-SQL
• Knowledge of the principles of Object Oriented analysis and design, design patterns

Non technical:

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both in written and verbal form
• Passion for new technology, especially mobile solutions
• Problem solving skills, ability to analyze a problem, come up with alternative solutions and choose between them
• Must be a good team player but also be able to work independently
• Motivation and positive approach to learning and exploring new tools and technologies. Ability to learn and adapt quickly
• Good, practical knowledge of English - both written and verbal

Bonus points:

• Experience in developing mobile applications using .NET Compact Framework
• Knowledge of Java and the J2EE platform
• Experience in working with a source control system
• Knowledge of the Objective-C language
• Experience in developing applications for Android, iOS, Blackberry and Windows Phone 7 platforms
• Automated software testing including unit testing
