Deputy Team Leader in Fund Dealing Services Department
Location: Warszawa
The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises two business lines: a dynamically growing International Operations Centre (SSC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe and local custody & clearing business offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full local clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland.
For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to be a vital part of the expansion in BNP Paribas" operational scope in Poland
Responsibilities:
- Effective daily supervision of team's work
- Supporting team in daily operational tasks
- Active participation in BAU and team cross training
- Planning and monitoring work in the team
- Setting priorities in line with customers' expectations
- Ensuring a high quality of the operations
- Dealing with issues and assisting with escalations which have been referred to the Team Leader
- Reporting team effectiveness
- Increasing team effectiveness and quality
- Driving/participating in conference calls with other departments and spoke locations
- Preparing and updating reports
- Ensuring that operational procedures are being updated on regular basis
- Supporting recruitment process of team members
- Supporting yearly appraisals process with employees
- Supporting staff development and training, providing support for new comers to adapt the BP2S environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in investment fund industry
- Experience in acting as a Deputy Team Leader / Supervisor of the process
- Deep knowledge of securities services
- Commitment and motivation
- Client focused - able to build productive and collaborative working relationships with stakeholders
- Excellent English
- Excellent organizational skills
- High productivity and precision
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
