Database programmer (SQL, VBA, XML)

• As a DB programmer you will be a part of “Release Management” team of a large international SAP ERP implementation program for Deutsche Telekom group in Europe. The team is monitoring and coordinating the progress of the solution delivery across several functional areas. Monitoring and reporting is using the MS Office tools (Excel, Access) and custom build MS SQL database which needs to be maintained and further developed.

Responsibilities:

• Requirement analysis, specification, design, implementation, testing and data migration of the PMO tools (Excel/Access and especially custom MS SQL database).
• Support other Release Management / PMO team members with ad hoc tasks like VBA/macro programming for Excel.

Qualifications:

• Experience with databases, frontend developments and understanding of client-server architectures
• Very good knowledge of SQL and VBA programming, MS SQL Server 2005, 2008 R2, 2012, 2014
• Microsoft Office 2003/2007/2010/2013 (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint) 
• XML, ASP and PHP programming
• Understanding of authorization concepts, IT security, operation and maintenance of databases, import and export of data, and backup and disaster recovery of databases
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Willingness and ability to collaborate within a large international team
• Communicative English
• Nice to have:
  • Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (Technical Designs, ChaRM process, Test and  defect management, ...)
