- Provide day-to-day, hands-on technical support of production and development SQL Server instances running on Windows Server
- Work as part of a technical support team (L2, L3) delivering a quality service to multiple clients using a variety of hardware and software product in a follow-the-sun support model.
- Resolve incidents affecting the operation/availability of high profile production systems.
- Very good English
- Good Knowledge of one of following database systems: Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008/2012, Oracle 11g/12c, MySQL, Sybase on administration level.
- Ability to work in Windows Server 2003/2008 or Linux environment
- DBA Certification will be an advantage
- Knowledge and experience of ITIL based service processes (Incident/Problem/Change Management) would be desirable
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and logical thinking skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
