thyssenkrupp Group Services Gdańsk is a global competence and development center aimed at bundling and standardizing business processes for thyssenkrupp companies worldwide. We provide services in the areas of Finance & Accounting (FI), Human Resources (HR), Information Technology (IT) and Procurement (PRO). As thyssenkrupp Gdańsk we are a part of Global Shared Services Centres and one of the biggest SSC in Tricity. We are located in a modern Gdańsk office overlooking the sea.
- Identifying and evaluating the company’s data processing activities
- Perform periodic audits of company activities
- Coordinate activities and duties related to personal data required by the applicable regulation or internal regulations
- Maintain and share good policies for handling personal data that are in compliance with the thyssenkrupp global data protection best practices and adjust them to the organization’s needs
- Communicate internal data protection policies and processes to thyssenkrupp employees
- Providing advice and instructions on how to conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
- Coordinate annual data protection e-learning training for all employees
- Handle personal data related queries or complaints
- Alert the organisation to any risks that might arise with regard to personal data
- Review organization’s data management framework and processes to align them with the Data Protection Officer
- A self-driven compliance officer with at least 3-4 years of relevant experience in an International Company
- A law degree holder is preferable
- Knowledge of local legal requirements regarding data protection/compliance expanded by thyssenkrupp internal policies
- Well organized team player with high standards and work ethics
- No proven conflict with law within any European country
- Fluent English
- Experience in collecting data, obtaining information and working with documents
- MS Office (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel)
- Soft Skills: dutifulness, self-reliance, conscientiousness
