About this opportunity
Welcome to the Group Data Protection Office. We add value by advising business and ensuring focus on data privacy and thereby ensuring great customer experiences. As Data Privacy Expert, you’ll play a valuable role in advising, assessing privacy risks and ensuring compliance with GDPR and other privacy legislation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Advising, informing and training Nordea’s business and group function units and issuing guidance on all matters relating to data privacy
- Advise on the data Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and data privacy by design and default
- Cooperate with supervisory authorities on data privacy and data protection issues and act as a contact point for individuals with questions, concerns, or complaints concerning Nordea’s use of personal data
- Monitor compliance with laws and regulations as well as Group Internal Rules on data privacy
- Establish controls, recommend mitigating actions and propose changes on the basis of monitoring activities undertaken

Your experience and background:
- You have experience in data privacy and related laws and regulations and particularly in Norwegian laws and regulations
- You have experience in risk management and incident handling
- Fluent in Polish as well as excellent spoken and written English skills
