An experienced SAP Data Services Consultant, who has the passion for securing data to add value to the organization.
You are experienced with creating, and managing, data pipelines; and have a passion for securing data and adding value to the organization. You are a creative problem solver, resourceful in getting things done, and productive working independently or collaboratively.
You will join our IT Solutions team with 90+ other colleagues located in Denmark, Germany, Poland, Sweden and UK. You will be a key part of the team where you will be working closely with Data Scientists, Master Data Specialists and Developers to secure Arla’s future data vision.You will be working with a range of technologies and data sources, including SAP (BW and ECC). Therefore, knowledge about SAP is an advantage.
You will have overall responsibility for SAP Data Services jobs, ETL, job failures, data replication, resolving failures, in a time critical environment.

Our expectations:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with data engineering, including end-to-end management of data pipelines (building new ETL jobs, handling errors, documenting flows, maintaining & enhancing existing pipelines)
- You have a master’s degree within IT or other relevant areas
- Desirable to have experience in performing data-quality tasks (e.g. Master Data projects), such as standardizing, cleansing, merging, and harmonization as well as in working Agile
- Competent in at least one programming language (Python, R, Java, C#, etc.)
- Knowledge of (and ideally experience with) the following technologies/applications is a big plus:
- Open source big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Apache Spark etc)
- SAP BW
- SAP Data Services
- Basic understanding of standard SAP tables / data models
- Strong ETL experience
- Process oriented and understanding of software development & ETL best practices
- Excellent data analysis skills using SQL, including analyzing redundant and inconsistent data
- Proven ability to write technical specifications and produce good quality code
- You will travel approximately 20 days per year to meet colleagues and partners around the world.
- Good communication skills so you should be able to interact with business & IT teams
- You speak and write English effortlessly

Arla’s Global IT comprises approximately 210 highly skilled IT specialists across DK, SE, GE, UK and PL as well as around 800 consultants who work with SAP, Microsoft and app development.
