As a leader in biotechnology, we strive for excellence in our marketing as well. We value the attention of our customers thus we want to maximize the value of our marketing activities for them. The team evaluating and optimizing omni-channel marketing on a global scale is called Marketing Insights and Analytics.
To strengthen this team, we are looking for a Data Analyst eager to enable and support data based decision making in marketing. In this role you will:
- Help our business teams deliver effective messages to customers as an expert in marketing segmentation and customer information systems
- In that effort, support planning, setup and execution of marketing campaigns; be the guarantor of a meaningful and automated performance reporting, e.g., by ensuring consistent KPI tracking
- Boost QIAGEN’s digital success by generating valuable insights on the performance of our digital channels and campaigns; pro-actively translate your analytics findings into learnings and improvement proposals
- Enhance marketing steering by answering key business questions through in-depth analytics studies for both online and offline business; team up with requestors and consult them as analytics expert
- Advance our analytics capabilities by driving and supporting key projects like reporting automation and engagement based targeting
Position Requirements
- University degree preferably in a quantitative field (mathematics, physics, computer sciences)
- Up to 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Good SQL/Python skills required for advanced analytics and customer segmentations
- Capability to visualize results using interactive dashboards (e.g. Qlik, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) is a plus
- Experience with CRM (e. g. Salesforce.com) and Marketing Automation platforms (e. g. Eloqua) and SAP is a plus
- Good MS Excel skills
- Fluent in English
