Your role
Are you detailed oriented, even when multitasking? We are looking for someone like that to:
- leverage analytics and visualization tools to present information in a way that drives fact based decision making
- develop interactive, analytical dashboards and represent sets of data of different size and complexity through visual representation
- data handling capabilities includes next to data sourcing and transformation their validation, preparation, enrichment as well as the automation of data handling workflows
- build powerful marketing data dashboards that will delight internal marketing professionals and make them more effective in their daily work
- use engineering solutions in different programming/scripting languages such as Python, R or SQL
- guide the Marketing Data Services team with expertise in data science disciplines like text mining, clustering analysis, recommendation analysis, outlier detection, predictive analytics or similarity searches as well as different modeling techniques
- design, conduct and documentation of data experiments
- Integrate research and best practices into problem avoidance and continuous improvement
- continuously drive for improved data quality and hygiene and enhancements of data assets; Focus on data quality by defining and improving processes
Your team
Perform marketing data analysis and apply data visualization techniques to build dashboards that present business information and highlight different perspectives on key business decision areas. The Data Analyst will support the Marketing Data Services Team located in Zurich.
Your experience and skills
Required experience & skills:
- 2+ years in functional or technical roles with implementation expertise in (digital marketing) analytics
- excellent Bachelor’s or Master’s (preferred) degree in digital marketing, mathematics, statistics, data analytics, computer science or related technical field
- -experience with data onboarding solutions and proficient in designing and implementing efficient and robust, full ETL workflows
- in-depth knowledge in query languages (SQL in particular), python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is required
- strong Familiarity with Tableau as the primarily used data visualization tool for MDS. Knowledge of additional visualization tools and related JavaScript libraries (such as D3.js) is a plus
- excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory (German is a plus)
