Customer / Vendor Master Data Subject Matter Expert
To strengthen our Finance team, we are looking for Customer/Vendor Master Data Team Lead with working experience in management and Master Data and proficiency in English. Your responsibilities
- You actively participate in various accounting projects on HUB and global level acting as Process SME
- You are deputy of C/V Master Data Team Lead
- You collaborate closely with AR & C/V Master Data Global Process Owner project team, working together on C/V Master Data Process Excellence, Quality and Efficiency improvement
- You accelerate value & make an impact by supporting day-to-day C/V Master Data operations: creation and changes on Customer and Vendor Master Data efficiently and accurately, in line with internal policies; purging of master data invalid records and participating in regular quality review; understanding the impact of the Master Data maintained and providing guidance to others regarding Master Data; documenting, reviewing and updating all work procedures pertaining to all aspects of system maintenance; executing internal controls
- You collaborate with other teams in continuous improvement activities and initiatives focusing on delivering efficiency, transparency and standardization and issues resolutions and support continuous process improvement with Global Process Owner e.g. optimization of processes & workflows, maintaining process documentation
- You answer any advanced queries received and participate in business meetings to maximize our customer satisfaction and issues resolution
- You drive and coordinate project activities, resources, equipment and information
- You monitor project progress, act as point of contact to stakeholders and handle any issues that arise
- You drive effective operational reporting mechanism to monitor (agreed KPIs / SLAs), review and report on CSS Finance Krakow operations in terms of quality assurance as strong support to Service Delivery Manager
- You ensure qualified business participation within the change management process, e.g. implementation SAP S/4Hana and MDG – defining business requirements, provide test data, testing solutions
- You support development of less experienced colleagues by acting as SME for assigned area and performing trainings from the process/tool usage
- Support in ad-hoc and non-regular, non-standard other activities requested by direct Supervisor, Operations Manager or AR & C/V Master Data Global Process Owner
Your background
- University degree in Finance or equivalent gained through working experience
- Min. 4+ years C/V Master Data experience in a multi-state, multiple legal entity environment preferred
- Thorough understanding of C/V Master Data process
- Experience of hands-on implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and problem solving approach
- Lean Six Sigma knowledge is a strong plus
- Feeling comfortable while working with workflows and liaising with technical support
- Strong practical user knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Power BI), knowing MDG tool is strong plus
- Ability to apply best practices including change management, effective error handling and performance instrumentation
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
- Attention to details, analytical, coordination and organizational skills, including multitasking and time management
- Independence and self-motivation, teamwork and customer orientation
- Very good command of English language
- Previous experience in Finance Shared Services environment, within complex, multi-processes environment, preferably for a global company
