Customer Service Officer in Securities Operations
Location: Warszawa
The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises two business lines: a dynamically growing International Operations Centre (SSC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe and local custody & clearing business offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full local clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland.
For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to be a vital part of the expansion in BNP Paribas' operational scope in Poland
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all operations related to Clearing & Settlement, Corporate Actions Processing and Tax Service functions are processed within the internal/external deadlines.
- Monitoring correct processing of client"s instructions against CSD's instruction status reports.
- Chasing failed trades with client's counterparts and report them to the clients.
- Responsibility for informing client on all instruction detail mismatching or alleged trades.
- Ensuring that the regulatory reporting is correct and delivered within expected timeframes.
- Ensuring that all KDPW statements are properly allocated to instruction as settlement confirmation.
- Ensuring timely distribution of MT599 messages to the Relationship Manager following to new accounts creation or existing accounts changes.
- Providing prompt information to BP2S Global Treasury in Paris to enable efficient PLN liquidity management.
- Responsibility for providing on time information on all outstanding cash instructions to MTS team in Lisbon.
- Ensuring all corporate actions are on time scheduled in AceTP system and correctly booked equally: in securities and in cash.
- Ensuring that all in and out-bound messages in AceTP are processed successfully or are reported to the GRP team, if additional steps are required to be taken to resolve the problem.
- Contributing to central IT & Projects teams to the development of BP2S' systems and technical infrastructure for improving efficiency and process quality.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of securities markets regulations and Banking Operations' systems
- Fluency in English as working language
- Team orientation with strong collaboration skills and willingness to support other roles
- Client oriented attitude - able to build productive and collaborative working relationships with stakeholders
- Demonstrated adaptability, flexibility and willingness to work in a changing environment
