Join our Quality team as a Customer Quality Engineer:

Acting as a Customer Advocate within Woodward processes and systems

Coordination between functions and locations to ensure a timely and adequate resolution to customer quality issues

Ensuring a forward looking approach to Quality in order to catch & prevent issues before they emerge

Keeping, recording and monitoring customer quality data and metrics

Driving root cause analysis and problem solving utilizing various quality tools (Six Sigma methodology approach)

Ensuring adequacy of documents and interfaces with customers for required validation documentation to customer quality requirements such as PQP, PPAP etc.

Leading and following up on internal and external quality audits as required

Supporting ISO9001 site activities

Participating in the Value Stream leadership team and representation of quality topics

Coordination and integration of the quality assurance processes and procedures within the value stream

Engineering degree in a technical field
-
4 years of professional experience in quality function, preferably in multinational environment

Ability to understand and interpret engineering specifications/drawings/schematics

Experience in principles of Continuous Improvement Methodologies (6 Sigma, Lean Manufacturing)

Strong English language skills

Proficiency to capture important data, analyze data and report appropriate conclusions

Solid understanding of quality management systems including ISO9001 and/or QS9000

Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to cooperate at all company levels, ability to cooperate with internal and external customers

Teamwork abilities under remote leadership

Proficient at MS Office
