Job Description:
- Responsible for managing a team
- Ensuring continuous quality improvement
- Managing customs problem solving
- Taking care of customs clearance (export/import documentation and transactions) where necessary
- Harmonization of tariff schedule and system code
- Prepare and process all document related to deliveries, freight cost planning and custom clearance
- Control of delivery dates
- Allocating the correct license depending on type of goods being imported
- Experience of managing and developing team
- Good knowledge of German (B2 minimum) will be an advantage
- Willingness to work on shifts (24/7)
- Very good knowledge of English (B2 minimum)
- Experience in a similar position preferably (experience in liaising with customs authorities; familiar with customs/ excise duties & levies; penalties)
- Knowledge on international freight & logistics distribution
- Strong communication, problem-solving, negotiation skills
- Computer literacy - MS office
- Accuracy and ability to work in a team
