Desa Plants is a subsidiary of Decock Plants which produces cuttings of ornamental plants. It is located in Ejersa, 83 km from Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. Desa Plants employs 750 people.
We are currently looking to hire new colleagues
to be based in Ethiopia.
In this role you will form part of a successful team with the Production Manager, Quality Manager and Plant Manager. You will work closely with the Global Production Manager. You will supervise cultivation processes and achieve cultivation targets (from analysing and stating the problems through to translating decisions into cultivation actions). You will also beresponsible for proposing solutions in close collaboration with the team of growers.
- You hold a degree in engineering, biotechnology, horticulture or agriculture, or have equivalent experience
- You have experience as well as a solid education and knowledge of the sector
- You have good written & verbal communication skills in English
