Our client is a well-know multinational financial services company which is currently expanding its operations in Central & Eastern Europe. In order to fulfill their ambitious plans, we are currently looking for an experienced individual to undertake the role of Credit Risk Manager of their newly formed leasing company in Poland.
- Take an active part in the start-up of the company in Poland
- Take responsibility for setting up credit and risk policies and procedures in the Polish subsidiary in cooperation with the Regional HQ
- Review and approve requests for financing, evaluating customers receiving retail financing (leasing)
- Active participation in deal structuring together with the sales force
- Recommend appropriate credit decisions
- Maintain proper documentation standards
- Ensure compliance with the internal policies and requirements
- Daily reporting to the local management and Regional Credit Risk Director
- Educated to university degree level in finance, banking or related specialization
- Minimum 5 years of experience on a managerial / senior expert position in credit risk in the leasing industry
- Underwriting experience in leasing, preferable in the transportation industry in Poland, experience with individual authorization of local transactions will be an asset
- Profound knowledge of corporate finance
- Experienced in creation, implementation and monitoring of credit risk policies and procedures
- Self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in Polish and English is a must
