The collections clerk position is accountable for collecting the maximum amount of overdue funds from customers, which may include a variety of customer location techniques, collection methods, legal claims, and the selective use of outside collection services.
The Credit & Collections Specialist will:

Stratify collection activities to maximize cash receipts

Contact customers regarding overdue accounts and determine reasons for non-payment
-
Notifies or locates customers with delinquent accounts and attempts to secure payment, using postal services, telephone, or personal visit

Mails form letters to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts
-
Negotiate the return of overpayments
-
Monitor cash on delivery or credit card payments
-
Issue credit hold notifications
-
Recommend bad debt write-offs
-
Maintain accurate records about the customer payment status
-
Coordinate customer credit changes with the credit department,
-
reviewing terms of sales
-
Issue dunning letters to overdue accounts
-
Issue LPC invoices
-
Recommend that accounts be shifted to a collection agency or to legal action
-
Understand and adheres to policies and procedures governing collection activities in area
-
Cooperate with AR department to check correct posting of customer payments
-
Cooperate with AP department to agree compensation with vendor payments
-
Cooperate with Lawyers Office in case of legal actions
-
Basic financial qualification
-
2 years of experience on similar position
-
Native speaker of Czech language
-
Good English

Computer literate – Excel & Word
