- Ownership of the pension accounting process managed centrally
- Being the primary contact to answer queries for entities regarding pension issues and/or pension reporting issues
- Reviewing and analyzing the pension reporting page during each quarters and reviewing pension expanse during planning cycles
- Managing the pension process with the corporate actuary
- Reviewing annually the out of scope defined benefit pension plan to asses their materiality and re-assess the scoping
- Preparing the necessary pension accounting entries (OCI, CTA) for month ends, quarter ends and planning cycles
- Reviewing the deferred tax accounting treatment for all defined benefit pension plan
- Producing key analysis to verify/support the pension closing positions
- Managing any pension special events (curtailments, plan amendments) with the entity and corporate actuary
- Key contact to senior management and external auditors to explain to explain the group OCI and pension balances on quarterly basis
- Ownership of the cash tax reporting process for quarter closes and planning cycles
- Responsibility for tax reporting package, consolidation the cash tax figures for the group during quarter closes and planning cycles
- Preparing and posting cash tax adjustments, analyzing the variances on current income tax and withholding
- Preparing the cash tax and pension reporting deck for senior management (on quarterly basis and planning cycles)
- Centralizing information from the different tax accounting members and pension accounting members
- Providing to the Corporate Free Cash Flow Team the cash tax and pension at constant currency and analyzing the variances
- Responsibility for presenting in a concise and clear way the cash tax to the Corporate Controller and Corporate Tax VP and being pro-active for following up on ad-hoc question from Management
- Assigning J-SOX controls to the team and reviewing the controls as specified in the J-SOX Global Reference Model
- Have an University degree in Finance
- Chartered/certified accountant
- At least 5 years of experience, qualified with a public accounting firm, preferably Big Four or other accounting firm of similar size
- Experience in a consolidation/reporting function is an asset
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is a must
- Ability to analytically review accounting system data (SAP is preferable)
- Financial accounting experience (IFRS or US GAAP knowledge is preferable)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, knowledge of basic macros is a plus)
- Strong communication skills
- Stress resistant, calm under pressure, team player attitude
- Open-minded, willing to work and interact with colleagues from different horizon
