Our client is one of the top global players in the healthcare industry. To support the company's growth we are currently looking for an experienced, dynamic and professional candidate for the position of Controller Position for the Region.
Opis stanowiska / Job description:
- Balance sheet review process for ECEMEA operations (involving design and preparation of report templates, on-site visits to countries, and detailed reviews of all balance sheet captions with local country Finance management to identify areas of risk, to provide accounting guidance, and generally to improve and standardize the quality of reporting in the region)
- Monitoring of key balance sheet positions (involving risk, judgement and estimates) within ECEMEA entities and communicating with business and Finance stakeholders
- Provision of accounting advice and guidance to country Finance teams, particularly in complex areas requiring advanced knowledge of US GAAP
- Active support of business development activity from finance due diligence and accounting perspectives; liaising with the multi-disciplinary teams within company, and external accountants, during the evaluation and acquisition phases
- Development and maintenance of regional Finance policies and procedures in ECEMEA
- Oversight and reporting of key accounts receivable and credit risk issues in ECEMEA entities
- Acting as key liaison between ECEMEA Finance and Corporate Finance groups on a wide range of issues
- Leadership of, or active participation in, finance or cross-functional projects (entity split, merger, legal structure changes, etc.)
- Management of non-Manufacturing capital expenditure process, from individual project reviews through regional capital review board
- Close cooperation with Regional Controller ECEMEA and Finance Teams in countries

Kogo szukamy / Profile description:
- University degree in finance/economics
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA or equivalent) will be a strong asset
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP and S-Ox is essential
- At least 4-5 years of experience in external or internal audit and business in an international, dynamic environment in accounting / controlling / reporting role
- Fluent English
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
