Continuous Improvement Manger is a key position within the Process Improvement Team. This position reports to the Process Improvement Leader and is responsible for identifying process improvement opportunities; facilitates plan execution to meet business objectives and ensure long-term improvement.
Drives continuous improvement to support growth, leading projects aiming to refine process efficiencies in direct support of achieving business goals and improved performance.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying process improvement opportunities; defining and justifying projects; negotiating resources.
- Launching project teams; managing team activities: leading teams to execute projects and developing team members.
- Leading and executing process improvement projects to ensure timely closure and benefit realization.
- Collaborate with team leaders and managers influence them in the transformation to and/or in support of a continuous improvement culture.
- Driving the long term vision of the process excellence framework.
- Develop and prepare metric scorecards and status reports with process lead inputs to communicate to each unit.
- Reports periods’ metrics and leads review conversations with team leads to identify areas required improvements
- Engage and support Finance people in various Continuous Improvements initiatives.
- Share knowledge about LEAN tools to employees at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Demonstrated experience in lean methodologies and tools such as Six Sigma.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills;
- Customer focus. Obtains first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services.
- Ability to analysing and improving upon existing business processes within an organization for optimization and to meet new quotas or standards of quality.
- Provide analysis based on data driven decision making, including effective collection and monitoring of metrics used to assess, prioritize, and select improvement projects.
- Influential Skills; strong facilitation and leadership skills.
- Keenness and quickness in understanding and dealing with a "business situation”.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate others and achieve results.
- Using Microsoft Office tools, particularly in using MS Excel and MS Power Point is desired.
- Demonstrated experience in Lean methodologies/ Six Sigma or project management methodologies would be an asset.
- Excellent English language skills.
- Knowledge of F&A processes and experience in improvement initiatives for F&A is essential.
- Experience at a supervisory level in Shared Service Centre or BPO, in AP, AR or GL preferred.
- Certification in Project management by established standard, preferred.
- Six Sigma Black Belt will be an advantage.
- Master’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business
