About the project
This role will integrate BI Delivery Team. The role will focus mainly on Business Intelligence projects – development, maintenance, support, monitor and optimize Azure cloud platform related to BI/DWH/Data matters.
Your responsibilities
- Provide ongoing administrative support of BI environment (in Azure)
- Responsible for supporting BI environment installation, migration, update, and investigation of current issues in Azure Cloud
- Proactive monitoring and administration of the Azure Cloud Platform (Azure Data Factory, SQL DB, SSIS, Networks, Security, Databrick, incl. web app services)
- Enhance BI environment through continuous improvement following standards and best practices
- Develop independently of suggestions for improvement and optimization
- Administration and monitoring the PowerBI Cloud Services
- Administration of the users (SQL Server, DB, PowerBI Services, Databricks, Storage etc.)
- Preparation solution for disaster recovery (High Availability/Disaster Recovery)
Our requirements
- Education in Software Engineering or Development
- 3- 5 years relevant experience in Cloud administration (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform) mainly in SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Databricks, web app services, Networks, Security
- Experience understanding performance and tuning impacts preferred
- English speaker (min. B2)
- Communication skills (written and oral)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
- Self-motivated and directed
- Understanding of data model, warehouse architectures, ETL/ETL tools and infrastructure components (nice to have)
