Description
Client On-boarding and Tax is responsible for the on-boarding of clients at BNY Mellon and ensuring the correct tax service and reporting is applied.
The team is a central utility provider, servicing groups in Asset Servicing, Corporate Trust, Wealth Management, Broker Dealer Services (BDS), Treasury Services, Depository Receipts, Global Liquidity Services, Trade Operations, Loan Operations, Global Markets and AIS.
Two main pillars of service are provided:
1. Global Client Administration, taking care of US Client Administration, US and EMEA Client On-boarding, System Consolidation/Conversions, US Compliance and Control Reporting.
2. Tax Products and Services, taking care of Tax Documentation and Reporting, Research on event taxability, Tax Withholding on US Corporate Events, Cost Basis Reporting and Calculation, Tax Reporting, Global Tax Compliance, Tax Certification and Regulatory reporting.
Client Administration Supervisor will be responsible for:
- professional support to clients through timely and accurate creation of client and 3rd party Workbench ID's for approximately 1800 clients
- creating invoicing templates for Global List Solution clients, which will be provided to the GCA Officers in Pittsburgh
- will also serve as a control function for tactical regulatory initiatives
- will act as the subject matter expert within GCA as it is related to contract administration, and review and maintenance of unique contractual requirements
- will also be expected to respond to inquiries originated by the GCA Officers in a timely and accurate manner to ensure positive impact to clients
- will act as a front line supervisor for 5-7 Senior Administrators
- will be responsible for day to day monitoring of the Administrators and will act as the backup for the managers.
Requirements:
- BA or Master Degree
- 2-3 years of experience in financial services
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form in English required. Solid client service skills, problem-solving, muli-tasking ability, knowledge of application, good influence/persuasive abilities, good project management/analysis skills, good technology/PC-Excel, Word, Powerpoint, preferred: company platforms.
