Chief Financial Officer (f/m)
In this position you have the overall responsibility for the administration area, including Finance & Accounting, Controlling and Human Resources, reporting directly to the Country Manager.
Your job functions:
Finance & Accounting
• Management of general accounting and payroll activities according to local statutory requirements and Fressnapf standards
• Preparation of monthly local balance sheet, financial statements and standard reporting according to Polish GAAP and IFRS
• Finalization and submission of VAT and tax returns
• Operational liquidity planning & management based on budget and investment planning
Controlling
• Implementation of efficient and effective controlling systems according to Fressnapf standards
• Local budget planning, forecasting process, standard reporting and monthly closing according to Fressnapf standards
• Operations Management: Investment control and preparation of ad hoc reports / ensuring data consistency & accuracy
Human Resources
• Management of all strategic and operational HR activities such as recruitment, employee relations, workforce planning, compensation & benefits, learning & development, employee engagement and administrative tasks
• Implementation of a local HR strategy in alignment with business objectives and according to Fressnapf standards and legal requirements
Your qualifications:
• University degree in (International) Business Administration, Economics or comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience in finance & controlling, at least 2 years experience in a leadership position
• Work experience in an international retail company would be desirable
• Hands-on mentality and motivation for pioneer work
• Fluency in Polish and English (spoken & written) is essential
• Proven knowledge of Polish employment legislation, accounting and financial regulations
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities
• Strong personnel management, communication and intercultural skills
• Excellent MS Office knowledge (in particular Excel), SAP knowledge would be desirable
