In the course of a succession plan, the company is looking for an experienced management personality for its location in Poland who sets high personal standards and who would like to develop and grow the Polish subsidiary in cooperation with the parent company in Germany as:
In the challenging position of Chief Financial Officer, you will work proactively as an operationally and strategically oriented financial manager on the further development of the Polish subsidiary in the Dolny Ślask region and will be involved in all corporate decisions. You will ensure future-oriented economic and financial planning and work in close cooperation with the controlling department of the parent company. You will report directly to the CEO of the location and will be in close contact with the CEO and CFO of the parent company.
Your tasks:
- Preparation and monitoring of liquidity and financial planning
- Assessing and monitoring the operational financial performance of the company
- Participation in the operational planning and implementation of corporate goals and strategies
- Initiation and monitoring of optimization processes
- Preparation and coordination of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Preparation and support of forecasts and prognoses
- Supervision of economic and tax audits as well as contact for banks
- Direct personnel responsibility for the areas of finance, accounting and controlling
Your qualifications:
- Successfully completed studies in the field of economics or similar
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting/finance management, preferably in a large trading company
- Extensive competencies in the areas of accounting, finance, taxation and controlling
- Expertise in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, balance sheets and profit and loss statements
- A high degree of willingness to familiarize yourself with all relevant business processes, including those outside your own area of responsibility
- Confident, assertive, persuasive, hands-on, seasoned individual who takes personal responsibility, has an analytical approach and offers strategic thinking, conceptual and creative skills
- Fluent in business English; German desirable
