For our Client, an international distributor of beauty and personal care products, we are currently looking for a right Candidate to fill the position of Category Manager whose main responsibility will be to create, articulate and manage the effective implementation of a category vision through demonstration of the thorough understanding and highly effective management of all aspects of the assigned category to meet agreed annual financial objectives in support of local and regional expectations.
A future Category Manager will be responsible for developing, aligning and implementing a long-, mid-, short- term strategy for owned Categories - including NPD, commercial launch plans, pricing strategy, merchandising power, vision of creative execution. A successful Candidate will identify product gaps and incremental opportunities for growth and address them in effective cooperation with internal teams/departments. Category Manager will constantly truck and analyze consumer data and market trends, identify portfolio gaps and co-operate on entry strategy development for new products, provide input to many company processes and matrix teams.
We would like to hear from Candidates with Master’s degree level in marketing or management discipline, at least 5 years’ marketing/brand management experience with responsibility for a small team of subordinates with focus on consumer insight. Experience gained at cosmetics companies while working on beauty or personal care categories would be a great advantage but is not a must. Fluent English is required.
