The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises of two business lines, a dynamically growing International Operations Centre (SSC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe and local custody & clearing business offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full local clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland.
For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to apply for the position of:
Reconciliation of cash transactions and control of significant cash movements:
- Independent matching of cash balances & movements
- In-depth analysis of unmatched items
- Contact with Fund Accountants and Custodians to identify possible reasons for exceptions
- Store evidence of control & upload control results in the system
- Escalate control results to depositary teams
- Identify cash movements above a defined threshold
- Investigate the economical reason of such movements
- Contribute to the effectiveness of daily operations in your area
- Guarantee escalation of problems to head of department / local management
- Contribute to the delivery of operational service levels agreed with clients (internally and externally)
- Comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines
- Cooperate with internal and external audit and operational risk management
- Complete “monthly reporting” and deliver them on time
- University degree (Finance, Economics, Law) or equivalent professional experience
- Very good command of English is mandatory
- French language knowledge will be an advantage
- Knowledge of securities services environment, previous experience in this domain will be considered as an advantage.
