Reporting Line: Campus Manager Mission Statement: Be the true Leader of a team of order fulfillment specialists to execute the procurement of the materials and services that support the business (factories located at the Lodz side) by optimizing cost, availability, inventory and reliability of the suppliers and supplied products. Ensure execution in accordance with Company and Supply Chain Management (SCM) sourcing strategy, instructions and procedures.
Your responsibilities
- Translates best the material demand plan into a work plan for the teams in order to help overall costs and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively forecast information to the suppliers.
- Implements effective procurement processes in line with business strategy, sourcing strategy and supply agreements in accordance with Company guidelines.
- Oversee programs to drive improvement in cost, quality, delivery and working capital (payment terms, lead times, order quantities and purchased material inventory etc.) in accordance with Group P&L guidelines and local Division/Business Unit objectives.
- Closely cooperate with Senior Internal stakeholders to develop and extend services portfolio and implement
- first-time-right approach in quality of provided services.
- Monitor supplier performance level on agreed KPi’s and provides regular feed-back to suppliers, planning and other stakeholder.
- Lead respective Factories’ activities with respect to the Supplier Performance Improvement process and defines improvement measures with the suppliers in alignment with SCM and other concerned functions.
- Provide internal reporting and populates agreed sections of standard reports such as Supplier performance evaluation.
- Implement Group, BU or Hub driven process improvements.
- Supports conformance to Hitachi Energy Supply Chain Management metrics and process standards.
- Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
- Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies and Group Supply Chain Management excellence guidelines (knowledge management, functional training).

Your background
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the area of procurement / logistics / purchasing / order handling in production area in international manufacturing company.
- Experience in dealing with foreign suppliers from EU and outside EU.
- Knowledge of custom rules will be an advantage.
- Able to work in a team.
- Extensive experience in ERP system (SAP).
- Very good command in English and Polish.
- Ready for occasional business trips.
