Working as part of a small team this position will be responsible for Managing and Maintaining mass changes and updates required by business teams.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage changes required in Himms2 – Administration Screen – Sales Rep codes, Case Reason Codes, Mass Changes Etc.
- Maintaining and updating International Payment Platform (MPS2) based on IBM Mainframe system and IBM DB2 database, together with detecting and repairing data errors in database, according to needs: on Client Group Level, on Entity level, on Chain level, on Merchant level.
- Creating and developing internal reporting tools (running SPUFI in TSO environment),
- Creating ad-hoc reports for business (SQLs on TDS Data Warehouse)
- Creating and executing Jobs that generates reports (SPOE-SPUFI) using JCL and SDSF to view and control executed Jobs.
- Using CICS environment (MPS2 green screens) on a daily basis to check Merchant, Entity, Chains, Tables settings.
- Building pricing programs, client groups and system hierarchy for payment platform (DB2 and SQL),
- Designing macros programs for operating system (VBA),
- Assisting operations and production teams, monitoring and responding to inquiries and questions,
- Supporting other departments on Business-As-Usual tasks.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure all mass changed don’t impact system.
- Manage Monthly month end activities – statement messaging – Pricing Programs clean up – Rate Changes - Month End Interchange Reports etc.
- Keep updated in terms of all areas of operations in terms of process changes, people and GTS systems and applications which touch our customers the most.
- Manage CA Service Desk Queue – Daily
- Provide support to North American colleges when required.
- Ability to work extended hours when needed included nights/weekends to support critical month end activities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Database knowledge: Oracle, IBM DB2, writing SQL queries,
- Base knowledge of IBM Mainframe and it’s components: TSO, SPUFI , CICS, SDSF, FM,
- VBA – writing macros,
- Effective Meeting Facilitator
- Strong Analytical Skills; multi-tasker; attention to detail; deadline oriented; strong problem solving skills
- Experience of working in the card payment processing industry or financial services
- Ability to read and understand technical data and communicate requirements effectively to the rest of the team or other non-system experts
