Programming and testing new application modules as well as modifications to existing application modules.

Design, develop, and conduct unit test plans for ensuring application code is functioning correctly

Responsibilities also include internal customer interaction, project estimating, application problem analysis and performance testing

Development of design and support documentation

2+ years of experience with database application design

Oracle PL/SQL with 3+ years relevant experience

2+ years of experience with Business Intelligence Reporting tool (WebFOCUS, IBM Cognos, QlickView, Tableau, Power BI, et cetera).

Strong knowledge and use of development methodologies, standards and procedures.

Fluency in communication in English

Understanding of and ability to apply Oracle database environment performance tuning principles

Expertise in SQL tuning of large database environments (1+ terabytes)

Ability to test to requirements and document results

Ability to work in the UNIX environment

Strong planning, organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills.

Self-starter who is comfortable talking to individuals or groups and being able to lead discussions regarding business rules and requirements.

Financial sector or bank card industry experience or familiarity with industry terminology.

Enterprise project development experience.

Technical certifications in relevant areas are a plus, but not required.
