The Business Development Representative will be responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within Polish market by effectively selling the Company's products and/or related services. The BDR will conduct webinars as required and represent the Company at trade exhibitions and events.
- Proactively and consistently research, collate and analyse market trends and customer data.
- Proactively and consistently identify new leads/prospects and meet cold calling targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through all communication channels (including face to face liaison) to develop a clear understanding of business requirements.
- Continually review and adjust to customer needs to ensure a successful outcome for both parties. Professionally challenge objections to ensure a sale is achieved.
- Take responsibility for negotiating on price, delivery and specification requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent the Company at trade exhibitions and events.
- Continually review and revise own sales strategy to ensure sales performance is met or exceeded and share best practices with colleagues.
- At least 5 years of commercial experience.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in commerce and/or sales.
- A strong track record of success in sales, business development and/or account management.
- Knowledge and/or experience of working in the technology industry, and an understanding of Storage and backup software tools are extremely beneficial.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. Another European language would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to build and maintain strong, commercial relationships with customers.
- Driven, enthusiastic and proactive.
- Flexible and adaptable, a strong team-player.
- Regular travel within Poland to support sales opportunities and marketing events.
- International travel may be necessary.
