For our Client, the largest telecommunications operator in EU, who is opening a new office in Warsaw to meet its increasing demands, we are currently looking for candidate for the position of: Business Development Lead and Consultant for banking domain.
Role Summary
- Ability to create entry-level value propositions at senior exec/CIO level customers to demonstrate key areas of business value to generate cloud related opportunities
- Proactively hunt for target organizations across the industry sector (Banking) to provide business consulting, IT & engineering solutions using our services
- End to End’ pursuit participation to ensure strong vertical / industry insights and solutioning know-how is established all through the pursuit
- Meet and exceed sector specific revenue targets as defined. Achieve profitability, contribution, and collection norms and create a business plan applicable for the geography, demonstrating your knowledge of the industry, partners and forums that will create the required visibility
- Demonstrate sales acumen through the rigor of sales strategy definition and creation, ability to quantify and qualify accordingly
- Build credibility, gain market share in the territory especially by getting more offshore Business. An Appreciation of the Global Delivery Model would be particularly an advantage
- Experience required to manage complex and multi-threaded pursuits.
- Work with pursuit teams to generate Proposals and Bid Responses and nurture the relationship
Requirements:
Desirable Experience:
- 10+ years’ experience developing Financial Industry Solutions or delivery of IT consulting projects
- 2+ years’ experience working on cloud-based software development projects
- Experience in presenting to C-level executives (CIO, CEO, CTO, CDO, CCO, CISO, etc.) as well as to technical subject matter experts
- Solid Sales Leadership, with a track record of working with top-level accounts with project revenues above €5M
- Heavy consultative approach, with a background of selling across multiple service lines in-line with our core offerings; Cloud Migration, Data & Analytics, App Development & Rationalization on Cloud
- Strong background in selling Technology solutions (not reselling of licenses) , Business Application Services, Analytics and Information Management, Technology Infrastructure Services and Product Engineering Services
- Experience of selling to C Level clients across Banking sector both in the retail & capital markets landscape
- Proven track record in delivering against revenue targets of multi-million Euros, with experience of selling project deals between $5-20M
- Proven track record of operating at exec board or senior leadership level - CTO, CIO
Domain & Sector Experience Summary:
- Financial Services domain: One or more business areas such as Core Banking, Origination, on-boarding/KYC, Financial Crime, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Regulatory reporting, Capital Markets trading, HPC for financial services, Finance and Treasury and Customer profitability
- Project Management: Project management methods, best practices and tools for complex, cloud application software development
- Cloud Technologies: Cloud infrastructure and security technology principles and services. Microsoft Azure cloud understanding is advantageous but not mandatory
