The main purpose of the role is to work on our financial application products as a technical business analyst. Operating between the business Product Owners / subject matter experts, and the development teams to gather, analyse and detail product requirements, and document and articulate them in an appropriate way for the development team to implement.
This role requires some technical knowledge, in particular an understanding of databases and SQL, and experience of the software development lifecycle.
Mainly in the Finance sector, the role provides the opportunity to work on interesting projects for some of the biggest multinational corporations.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- Strong skills and experience in the definition and development of a technical solution to meet business requirements
- Experience across the software development lifecycle, from requirements definition through to QA
- Strong technical knowledge / awareness across a development function
- Knowledge of SQL, Oracle preferable
- Demonstrable experience of working closely with customers of internal business units
- Strong communication, specifically the ability to articulate ideas, problems, and solutions in a way other people understand (both verbally and documented)
- University education preferably in Economics, Accounting, Computer Science, or Business.
