The mission of the SMR group is to position Solera as the global thought leader and premier provider of
Comprehensive, end-to-end Automotive Service, Maintenance and Mechanical and Collision Repair (SMR) solutions. It is the global Centre of Excellence for Operations, as we leverage our core assets of 40+ years of proprietary and historical Data, deep relationships with OEMs, Insurers, expertise in the aftermarket industry, and the understanding of the leading automotive technologies to create unique, cutting-edge analytics and predictive solutions.
Our solutions will add significant value to our customers: Insurers, OEMs, and vehicle owners, contributing to Solera's target of capturing the global SMR business goals as part of Mission 2020.
In this role, the candidate will report to the Platform Development Manager. He/She will have the following missions:
- Analyze the business requirements of customers to create a complete picture of workflows and requirements, and identify fulfilment of those by existing and proposed software.
- Work collaboratively with Customers, Upper Management, Development Managers, Architecture, QA, Operations and other Software Developers in coordinating requirements and scheduling according to customer expected deadlines.
- Use industry best practices to implement tracking and reporting to a small number of stakeholders, and publish them for access by a larger audience.
- Define the problem statement and primary objectives of customer requests, to be signed off by the customer.
- Set up tracking tools/systems for projects from conception to delivery to synchronize the development teams on/off-shore or outsourced.
- Create business specifications that describe the problem statement, to a detail clear enough for the development team's technical specifications.
- Escalate possible interference to other systems or gaps in requirements in advance.
- Continuously suggests improvements and optimizations of processes, tools and solutions.

Must have:
- Analytical thinking.
- Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Experience working with developers, project managers as well as business unit managers.
- Collaboration with teams located at remote locations.
- Ability to create professional software documents for business use.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) and good interpersonal skills.
- Multi-tasking and good time management abilities.
- Ability to work under time pressure.
Good to have:
- Experience in Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience with Jira.
- Experience with MS Project, MS Excel (pivot charts and macros).
- Previous interaction with customers from diverse regions and different cultures.
