The Biotech Production Scheduler is responsible for providing production planning, managing production inventory, organizing and coordinating activities of production support functions to effectively sustain product transformation operations. The Biotech Production Scheduler manages the requirements and capacity planning for the manufacturing materials and the workforce in Polpharma Biologics’ facility.
- Planning production in a cGMP environment through scheduling systems.
- Managing short- and long-term production scheduling process (Master Production Schedule, Material Requirement Planning and Production Capacity Planning).
- Securing supply within production. Managing inventory of semi-finished products through production steps.
- Ensuring completion of development batches on time.
- Managing the workforce for both activities and on the job training.
- Preventive maintenance, revalidation and calibration of equipment.
- Cooperating with other departments (e.g. Supply, Engineering and Maintenance Dep.).
- University degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related (a scientific or biotech degree would be an advantage).
- At least 3 years' experience in similar position within the biotech or pharmaceutical company.
- SAP knowledge would be an advantage.
- GMP environment experience.
- Knowledge of upstream or downstream processes.
- Good organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
