Backup Administrator

Job description:
- Designing, implementation and operations for Managed Backup with focus on either Symantec NetBackup, EMC Networker or IBM Tivoli Storage Manager solutions
- Outsourcing, take-over, integration and support of the existing backup-installations and integration into Atos environment
- Consulting with internal and external customers
- Preparation of new technologies and products for standard operations
- Diagnostic inspections and elimination of faults within supervised backup systems
- On-call duty
- Regular control and health check of backup services
- Service improvement suggestions for the managed backup infrastructure
Requirements:
- Higher education (preferably IT or similar)
- Fluent English - spoken and written
- Knowledge of NetBackup 6.x or higher, EMC Networker or IBM Tivoli Storage Manager solutions
- LINUX / UNIX administration as background skillset
- Ability to work independently as well as within a group
- Open to taking up new challenges
- Proactive attitude
