About this opportunity
One of Nordea initiatives that handled CIC application is being decommissioned and therefore responsibility for it is transferred to Poland. We have L3 maintenance established already and now we need also two devs to support its development in the future.
Communication and Investment Centre is a web-application for fund trading and has a interface built in HTML hat handles the trading in external funds (e.g. a Nordea customer in Nordics buys a Morgan Stanley investment fund). The application is mainly used for receiving trades from third party and send to MFEX but also to FX trade with E-markets, receiving fund information and fund prices and distribute them to third parties and keep track of holdings.
Core development team is located in India and business owners in the Nordics – we are planning to gradually move part of development towards Poland so this is a role with great potential. Team is working agile in full SAFe model.
What you’ll be doing:
- Help build architecture roadmap for the project
- Develop new features in Back-end applications
- Tightly cooperate with our stakeholders within all areas of development
- Help build further structures if the project on the Polish side
- Support our stakeholders during releases
- Maintain existing applications
- Perform regular code reviews and commit the code on a daily basis
- Create Nordea wide coding standards and software practices

Your experience and background:
- Good JAVA experience with Spring and Hibernate development
- Experience in Front-end (JavaScript, JQuery, Angular 2+) is beneficial
- Liquibase, Junit, Mockito, REST web services
- Tomcat, Maven, MS SQL Server
- SonarQube, Bamboo/Jenkins, GIT, BitBucket
- Understanding of release process, SDLC and “big picture” in it
- Suberb communication skills and willingness to take the lead!
- Fluent English
