Automation / Controls Engineer
Location: wielkopolskie, Ostrów Wielkopolski
Job description
Your responsibilities would consist of the managing the process of commissioning in a World Class Manufacturing environment; e.g.:
- Programming of PLC, and HMI systems using a variety of industry & manufacturers’ standards
- Control panel design and oversight of fabrication and profitability
- Experience in writing PLC code for Siemens (Step 7 Classic, TIA Portal), Allen-Bradley
(Rockwell Automation), - Experience in safety standards programming
- Knowledge of industrial networks (PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP)
- Ability to provide setup servo drives, pressing devices, screwdrivers etc.
- Participating in FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) at client site
- Carrying out PLC software development and commissioning activities in our HQ in Germany (Freiberg)
Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
- Technical University degree or similar
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the automation environment, preferably from the automotive industry or a similar position
- English language at advanced level - written and oral (B2)
- German language at advanced level – written and oral (B2) will be an advantage
- Driving licence (B)
