Ensure smooth functioning of the team, Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time in accordance with internal SLAs by supporting the team and providing guidance. Proactively build and develop good working relationships with key stakeholders. Actively search out areas for process improvement, identify the gaps in efficiency and effectiveness and recommend the actions. Provide support to continuous improvement projects.
- Lead the team through the mid-month and month end, quarter end and year end activities meeting all deadlines.
- Ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and on a timely basis in line with internal SLA's by supporting the team and providing guidance;
- Actively build and develop good working relationships with key stakeholders;
- Accountable for creation and maintenance of detailed transactional GBS documentation for the processes in scope and establishing the process of updating it to ensure Core Services are executed in line with Corporate and market local accounting requirements;
- Actively search out areas for process improvement, identify the gaps in efficiency and effectiveness and recommend the actions. Provide support to continuous improvement projects;
- Responsible to ensure all JSOX / operational controls.
- University degree (Accounting or Finance);
- Fluent written and spoken English;
- 5+ years experience in a multinational company including preferably 2 years of managerial experience in a Shared Service Centre multifunction role (i.e. Fixed Assets / General Ledger/Material Ledger);
- Excellent understanding of the Fixed Asset, GL and ML end to end process;
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines;
- Good presentation, analytical and problem solving skills;
- Good prioritization skills in order to manage workload effectively;
- Strive for professional development and be result oriented;
- Be open minded, positive thinking and see the opportunities for changes;
- Effective team leadership skills.
- Project management experience preferred;
- Good knowledge of SAP preferred.
