The Area Manager works within Poland to manage the day-to-day sales of the business for this region. The person in this position will be responsible for new member’s sales as well as the implementation of the company’s sales process through attracting, recruiting and training. Therefore, Area Manager will be experienced in motivating a team of Club Sales Managers, delivering exceptional customer service and continually monitor and improving our member experience.
Responsibilities
- Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas that need cost reduction or significant improvement
- Direct and coordinate activities of all departments concerned with the sales and customer services
- Lead by example with a can do attitude
- Monitor work flows and the input of sales team
- Supervise all sales team by reviewing day-to-day progress, establishing work assignments & goals
- Facilitate operational working relations with all club managers and key personnel in head office
- Respect and require the use of company procedures and policies
- Develop a reward and recognition methods to increase sales team dedication and motivation,
- Meet and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in related area with at least 2 years managerial responsibilities
- Sales focused, sales skills, knowledge of sales techniques
- Experience in managing multi-side operations
- Knowledge of business and management primarily: strategic planning, target orientation, resource allocation, human resources, leadership, and daily business coordination
- Ability to provide guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance, coaching and experience in developing employees
- Sales background – experience in driving sales, proven achievements
- Good command of both written and spoken English
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge and experience in fitness industry will be an asset
