Installation, configuration and administration of Test Environments using Microsoft Technologies;
-
Installation and configuration of apps for Office and SharePoint;
-
Configuration of Office applications such as Excel, Word, Project, Outlook and SharePoint online will be required to test customer applications;
-
Review and comprehend third party customer applications and make recommendations on each application against specific criteria;
-
Meet customer SLA’s regarding productivity for apps validated per day while maintaining low error and escalation counts as per agreed metrics;
-
Participate in Test project reviews for projects and communicate findings to customer teams both internally & externally based on each scenario validated;
-
Effective interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written to document results and rejection reports for developers;

Excellent standard of English both written and verbal is required.

Good standard of verbal / written English in addition to fluency in the target validation language;

Working knowledge of other languages an advantage;

Minimum 2 years working of working in a software testing environment;

A good understanding of software development processes with demonstrated proficiency in executing test cases, issue logging and tracking through to resolution and close;

Have the ability to prioritise analyse productivity, manage SLA’s and meet deadlines;

Attention to detail: be methodical and organised with the ability to multi task effectively and adapt to a fast paced work environment;

Experience of working within technical testing teams with good collaborative skills;

Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience in configuring complex software applications;

Strong analytical problem solving skills & troubleshooting hardware and software applications;

Possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a team;

Ability to review, cross check, QA/sign off on the work of other validators. participating in analysis and design and coordinating with other teams/functions.
Technical Skills & Expectations:

Knowledge and practical experience of Microsoft Office client applications is required including Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, Exchange, Access, and PowerPoint;

Basic understanding of SharePoint online and Office 365;
-
Experience of setting up and testing on virtual machines;
-
Troubleshoot tools, environment and app functional issues on multiple environments;
-
Assist in the creation and maintenance of training content;
-
Knowledge and experience of Industry standard bug logging tools and the SDLC is an advantage;

Understanding of Web Development technologies such as basic CSS, HTML & JavaScript also an advantage.
