We are creating an SAP & IT competency center (GSO) providing IT services to Deutsche Telekom in Europe - a place full of ambitious people, creative ideas and positive energy.
As an Application Manager you will be responsible for:
- End to End application operation management throughout all application lifecycle stages
- Budget planning, monitoring, forecasting and execution
- Security & Compliance processes management & monitoring
- Creation and Implementation of Service Improvement Plan – including operational savings, processes optimization (Incident, Change & Problem Management) and infrastructure management
- Vendor Management and direct cooperation with suppliers (contract negotiations, KPI’s, SLA’s)
- Governance of all support teams engaged in support activities in your application area.
- Delivery management: Ensures provision of resources (internal & external) incl. order process management
Requirements:
- At least 4 year experience in operations/application management
- Awareness of IT Service mgmt (ITIL)
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Highly self-assured, self-motivated and with strong ownership
- Effective organizational and time management skills to interact with global project teams
- Ability to establish effective relationships and contribute in a team & virtual teams environment
- Fluent written and spoken English, knowledge of German would be an advantage
