AP/AR Manager

Job purpose: Leading, managing and supporting Shared Service Centre Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable teams in the delivery of SSC AP/AR objectives and supervises assigned teams within Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable processes.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensuring timely and accurate processing of all transactions
• Managing scope of the end to end process and solution (business and IT)
• Monitoring and managing BU transition and BU relationship
• Ensuring achievement of performance / quality standards
• Managing budgeting and forecasting for AP/AR processes
• Monitoring, updating and developing SLAs for AP/AR processes
• Managing productivity and cost improvement
• Planning staff rosters to promote optimum utilization of staff
• Implementing initiatives for improving the efficiency and / or effectiveness of the transaction processing
• Maintaining and updating procedures of AP/AR processes
• Forcing cross-process performance improvement initiatives
• Managing dispute resolution and steadily looking out for SSC & process related improvements

• MSc in Accountancy, Economics or Business Administration with Major in accounting, CPA / CMA and or MBA preferable
• 3-4 years experience in the Manager position of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
• Excellent business English (oral and written skills)
• Experience of working in a shared services centre, within a complex and international environment
• High experience of Finance processes and process improvement
• Ability to supervise staff within AP/AR process
• Manage BU transition
• Excellent working knowledge of SAP FI, Scanning and workflow technology, SAP MM preferable
