CRISIL provides consultancy services for investment banks across the globe in enabling them to meet key market regulations through change initiatives.
Driving such an initiative, we are looking for a business analyst to work in stress testing financial statements. This role requires understanding of financial statements and experience of working in the IB Risk functions.
- Impact analysis of stress scenarios on the income statement, balance sheet and capital of the bank across levels i.e. group, business unit and legal entity
- Liaise and interact with capital and financial experts working on financial statements for their requirements
- Assist in integration of stress scenario results with the decision making process of the senior management, such as in the financial planning process, scenario design etc.
- Work closely with enterprise risk management process for stress testing analysis on various risk management and reporting assignments
- Knowledge of income statement, balance sheet, and capital concepts under Basel III; Experience in Product Control, Corporate Finance or Financial Planning and Analysis functions in banks is preferred
- Knowledge of capital adequacy regulatory framework, and stress testing / ICAAP preferred; exposure to financial modeling will be a plus; knowledge of statistical and quantitative tools
- Good analytical and problem solving skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with colleagues across global locations remotely
- The candidate should be process oriented, have attention to detail, and have good time management skills
- Post-graduate / Professional degree in Finance from a reputed institute,
- Undergraduates in statistics, mathematics, engineering and other quantitative field will be preferred; CFA, FRM, PRM will be preferred
