We are looking for an Analyst/Senior Analyst within the Treasury team in P&L and Balance Sheet Control unit. You will work with various types of financial reporting for Nordea Group and its subsidiaries in Treasury space. Your focus will be on analysis and reporting the development of reporting and improving processes along the way.

You’ll join P&L and Balance Sheet Control organisation, where we are responsible for profit & loss and balance sheet reporting, controlling and analyses across Nordea Markets and Treasury. We service and engage with a large number of stakeholders and are required to be flexible and innovative in our daily work.
What you’ll be doing:
- Performing analysis of the development of financial disclosure for Treasury space in Nordea
- Be part of the monthly closing process of financial reporting in Nordea
- Take responsibility of the balance sheet controls and reporting
- Deliver on the financial regulatory reporting as per the timeline
- Running controls and validation checks against our inbound and outbound data flows
- Engaging stakeholders with regular and ad-hoc queries, including internal and external auditors
- Helping to develop value adding practical solutions to improve both the efficiency and quality of our reporting
- Communicating and presenting developments in the various reports in a clear and concise way
- Driving continuous improvements in your processes and in the unit
- Help solving complex challenges within production periods

Your profile and background:
- An academic degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, engineering or similar
- At least 3-6 years of relevant work experience
- Fluency in English is required
- Strong Excel Skills
- Knowledge of VBA, SAS and SQL would be a plus
- Knowledge of HFM would be an asset
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details
- Experience of driving a change and implementing improvements
