About the project
In this position, you will be leading Nokia Artificial Intelligence Laboratory team consisting of Data Scientists within Analytics and Digitalization organization, responsible for supporting business processes across Nokia with advanced analytics competences to deliver data driven insights leading to tangible business impact. These objectives will be achieved by identifying and understanding data sources suitable for business strategy formulation and explanation of business hypotheses, proposing new metrics for qualitative and quantitative assessment of business performance, researching, designing, implementing and deploying full-stack scalable analytical tools and solutions which support business processes. The team delivers key analytical insights through interactions with business stakeholders, data exploration, processing and visualization, as well as selection of the most suitable analytical methods and tools allowing to reach business objectives. You will be involved in building and maintaining small-to-large scale analytics projects used across Nokia and consistently conduct research, design, prototyping, and validation of cutting-edge algorithms..

Requirements
- M.Sc. (must have) / Ph.D. (preferred) degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics, or similar quantitative / technical field of study
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science
- 2+ years of experience in project and people management
- Excellence in analyzing large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets with a variety of analytics methods (math, statistics, machine learning, etc.) and software tools (Python / Matlab)
- Experience with optimization techniques: linear, mixed-integer, and other mathematical programming methods
- Familiarity with database technologies and querying languages
