Job summary:
We are looking for pragmatists who are able to work with teams and management and help them understand the Agile theory, practices, rules and values. You will facilitate and monitor the Scrum process from initiation through delivery.
Responsibilities:
• Guiding, teaching and supporting the development teams and the rest of the development organization on the adoption of Test Driven Development (TDD) and other eXtreme Programming (XP) techniques
• Teaching and showing (hands-on) mainframe developers how to run automated unit tests
• Providing guidance on techniques to prioritize and reduce technical debt
• Contributing to best practice in reducing complexity in the code base
• Contributing to technical learning and knowledge sharing
• Contributing to continuous focus on Built-In-Quality in the development process
• Contributing to internal and external communication about the technical agile travel in BEC to create more transparency, knowledge sharing and learning
• Building up a service catalogue offered by the Agile Technical Coach (ATC)
Requirements:
• Master in software development or similar
• Teaching experience
• Practical experiences with XP and Lean
• in the role as ATC for 3+ years or similar
• in training development teams in XP-techniques (TDD, Pair Programming, Refactoring etc.)
• as a mainframe developer using
• programming languages like Cobol, PL/1 or similar
• SQL and DB2
• creating test data and building and running test cases
• using unit testing tools for z/OS
• using SCRUM
• in the role as scrum master is an advantage
• using Confluence and Jira is an advantage
• using SAFe is an advantage
