Currently the center is seeking candidates for the position:
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
- Transform accounting processes with objective to achieve standardized accounting process flows ensuring cross-country process transparency and efficiency
- Drive actions and provide expertise to enable electronic document flows and process automation
- Achieve process efficiency measured by workload and/or cost reduction.
Key Responsibilities and General Accountabilities:
- Analyze process flows to identify biggest opportunities for process optimization and effectiveness
- Cooperate close with EMEA Accounting (Governance), Business Process Management and SSC Process Managers to develop standardized processes
- Drive standard process implementation with Local Accounting Business Partners in the countries or lead a workstream of bigger project/program in accounting transformation
- Very close cooperation with other business functions to streamline the process flow and implement electronic workflow tools
- Provide functional requirements concerning process automation to IT function with aim to build effective solutions
- Analyze root causes of process to provide input for decisions on process changes
- Evaluate process risk assessment to be able to plan and implement corrective actions
- Support process transition to SSC with expertize and process knowledge
- Provide information and training concerning implementation of new accounting processes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Very good knowledge of accounting transactional processes
- Solid project management skills ( in particular: change and implementation management, risk and issue management, tracking, reporting, stakeholders management)
- Fluent English
- Good knowledge of following systems/solutions and/or its implementation will be a big advantage: SAP (FI), invoice workflow, EDI, payment posting automation, Concur (in T&E), Intercompany Reconciliation systems,
- Self-driven and independent
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under time pressure
- Experience with driving projects remotely or working in virtual environment
- Ability to travel on regular base (20-40% of working time)
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in economics / finance or IT with major in Accounting or equivalent qualification / work experience
- Min. 5 years of work in SSC/BPO of accounting scope; of which min. 2-3 years of experience In successful accounting process standardization on at least regional level (best in Europe region)
