As a newly opened and fast growing Shared Service Centre (SSC) we are looking for an Accounting Team Leader - Syndicate to support our financial operations across whole world
Accounting Team Leader
Location: Wrocław
You will be responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely information to the UK & Group Finance teams and other key stakeholders. You will be managing, coaching, developing and motivating a team of accounting specialists through effective people management practices in order to achieve the optimal performance contribution from each team member.

Your responsibilities will involve:
- As an Accounting Team Leader your responsibilities and duties will include but won’t be limited to the supervision of the following activities carried out by members of the Syndicate team:
- Processing cash transactions and reconciliation of bank accounts
- Processing and reconciling accounted data balances
- Reconciling, aggregating, and allocating technical intercompany balances including agreement of repatriations in accordance with agreements
- Processing, reconciling and reporting investment balances
- Calculating realised and unrealised foreign exchange gains and losses
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts (on monthly basis) ensuring reconciling items are investigated and cleared in a timely manner
Your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- A recognised professional accounting qualification
- University degree preferably in finance or accounting area
- Proven experience in a similar role in a financial services environment.
- Fluent English (both oral and written). Knowledge of second European language would be an asset
- Experience in a shared service environment would be advantageous
- Excellent analytical and logical thinking skills with strong attention to detail
- Computer literate including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other commonly used software. Experience using SAP would be advantageous
- Good organisational skills with ability to work under time pressure
- Excellent people skills; communicative and open to new challenges
