Currently the center is seeking candidates for the position:
Subject Matter Expert in regards to accounting in R2R, P2P and O2C:
- Tracking of changes in accounting policy, rules and regulations across EMEA region, suggesting
- necessary process changes as a result of those changes and provide trainings to the SSC teams
- Supporting the SSC teams with resolution of accounting issues
- Supporting the SSC teams during the knowledge transfer phase from an accounting perspective
- Supporting Team Leaders in any additional activities such as projects and ad hoc requests
- providing insight from an accounting perspective
- Cooperating with all the processes (R2R, P2P and O2C) and analyzing interactions between
- those from an accounting perspective
- Supporting the Transition and Transformation teams in identifying potential risk and providing
- support in mitigation of risk from an accounting perspective
- Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures by reviewing processes and addressing
- potential risks to the Team Leaders, Process Managers, Transition and Transformation teams
- Supporting the SSC teams during internal and external audits regarding accounting topics
- Proposing standard solutions across regions and entities for accounting topics
- Cooperating with the Internal Control Specialist in regards to internal controls providing insight
- from an accounting perspective
- Cooperating with the Business Process Owners in terms of process related changes, verifying
- them from an accounting perspective and sharing with the SSC teams
- Cooperating with the Consolidation EMEA team in regards to policies and regulations
Knowledge sharing and support in developing SSC competences:
- Designing and preparation of the scope of trainings based on the SSC teams' knowledge gaps
- Coordinating an providing regular trainings to the SSC teams (pre and post-transition)
- Tracking of changes in policies and regulations, sharing updates to the SSC and FOCUS teams
Supporting team members in day-to-day operations:
- Providing operational support as delegated by the Process Manager
- Assisting with the annual audit process
- Supporting the Process Managers in the regular quality management from an
- accounting perspective
- Minimum 7 years of experience in independent accounting role (IFRS reporting environments)
- Proven accounting qualifications (ACCA, Polish Certified Auditor, other qualifications beneficial)
- Experience in BIG 4 in TAX or/and Audit departments beneficial
- Experience in one or more financial processes (R2R, P2P and/or O2C) in the SSC/BPO
- environment
- Knowledge of SAP environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
